I have a 1964 Allis Chalmers Series IV D19 Gas that I had the motor rebuilt 2 years ago. I was in the shop looking for sources of replacement Fenders adn the owner told me what he thought the value of the tractor was. I thought it was high. His reasoning was the he believed this was one of the last 300 made. I would like to validate this with the serial number but am having difficulty understanding the correct location to use. Does any one know which number from the transmission should be used or am I looking in the wrong spot?
This my haying tractor so maybe I need to treat it better. LOL.
