: It seemed to me that GEO's answer was exponentially high, and careful examination of the serial # info I have indicates the 2030's were intermingled with 1020's and 1520's in US production and 1530's in German production. Conventional info therefore cannot be used to guesstimate production #'s. As far as I know, the 2030 was the only model # produced by JD in the US and then in Europe. Also, no Gassers were built in Germany. I realise this is absolutely no help to you but then...................... Thanks for your help. I'll give the information to my father-in-law.
