Every year there is a competition of bragging rights to who picks the first ripe tomato in South Louisiana. I was looking around on the net as it is that time of year for us; to see if they are picking 2018 tomatoes yet.
I found this video that was posted almost a month ago on March 25th of the tomato plants growing full of green tomatoes. It is a facebook post from the local produce stand so you might need facebook to be able to view it.
