I read this on Yahoo News last night. I was very disappointed to read this. My wife and I have driven Town Cars and large FWD Buicks for the past 25 years. The Town Car and the Lucerne were discontinued in 2011. My last Town Car was a disappointment because of a poor design in the exterior sheet metal caused premature rusting, and likewise, the entire car seemed cheap and "tinny." We still have our Lucerne, but the front seats are horrible in that car due to the design of the side bolster padding in the bottom cushion you sit on. Three to four hours in that car and your body is sore. I decided 3 years ago I was not going to have the large sedans I had been accustomed to for so long, so I looked at mid-size sedans. I test drove a number of them made by numerous manufacturers. The two that rose to the top were the Honda Accord and the VW Passat. With the miles we put on in our regular driving to and from work and our travel, I refuse to spend a small fortune on the type of vehicle most others are driving, which are crossovers, SUV's, and trucks. In the past, our large sedans were capable of delivering fuel economy in the mid-20's to just over 30 mpg. The offerings of the domestic 3 manufacturers did not impress or excite us, which is why we opted to go with the VW Passat. I guess Ford has thrown in the towel in building cars to compete with the likes of the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, VW Passat, Mazda 6, and other mid-size sedans offered by Hyundai, GM, and Chrysler. I know the mid-size market segment is one of the most competitive in the automobile industry. I do feel GM, Ford, and Chrysler struggled with their offerings in this segment.

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulics - Cylinder Anatomy - by Curtis von Fange. Let’s make one more addition to our series on hydraulics. I’ve noticed a few questions in the comment section that could pertain to hydraulic cylinders so I thought we could take a short look at this real workhorse of the circuit. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
