The two tractors I have both have radial tires with radial duals. My suggestion won't apply with respect to having duals on the tractor, but will with the singles. I have taken the time to weigh the tractors with the total weight, the weight on the front axle, and the weight at the rear axle. The tire catalog I obtained for the manufacturer of these tires has a loaded weight rating per tire with singles and with duals, with specific air pressures in the tires. I tend to follow along with these ratings, or slightly higher based upon the load on the hitch on the tractor, too. I cannot recall, but my 225 horsepower tractor with mfwd has a full set of suitcase weights on the front and a 1350 pound wheel weight in each inner rear wheel. My fronts are pumped up to around 26 or 28 psi, and my rears are around 10 or 11 psi with duals. My 2wd tractor, rated at 180 horsepower has 14 front suitcase weights and a 450 pound wheel weight in each rear inner wheel. This tractor doesn't perform high draft work in the field, so the tires are pumped up a bit higher in psi versus the tillage tractor. I think with duals, these are pumped up to 14 psi, and with singles might be around 20 or 22 psi.

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulics - Cylinder Anatomy - by Curtis von Fange. Let’s make one more addition to our series on hydraulics. I’ve noticed a few questions in the comment section that could pertain to hydraulic cylinders so I thought we could take a short look at this real workhorse of the circuit. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
