Social media makes the "computer control crap" sound way worse than it is. One guy has a failure, complains about it on some forum or facebook, and then all of a sudden the whole line of equipment is condemned as being unreliable.
The reality is that most all of it works fine and there are no issues. Sure once in a while someone has a problem, and yes it's inconvenient, and yes the guy has a right to be mad, but stuff happens.
The reality is the "computer control crap" makes your tractor more efficient, makes it more comfortable for you, reduces your workload, so you aren't so tired at the end of the day, so you don't have to deal with 12 hired men who could care less about your machines or doing the job even acceptably.
Y'all wax nostalgic about the "good ol' days" but the reality is they weren't so good. Tractors broke down and left you unable to get your crops in, and they didn't even have computers.
