I had one like yours that I picked up when I brought a tractor it was in his junk pile (his yard). Every converter buyer that stopped by for a couple years said it had no value till one day a buyer gave me $40 for it. You may get lucky and find a buyer I spec it has no are little value. It would fail here with out the converter in place I think it would pass a emission tail pipe test with out it. If it has value and if its broken up inside it kills the value, It also could cause performance issues and for sure down the road it would become a issue.
I worked a Dodge sometime back like yours the converter was rattling he called a year are so later wanting a price on a transmission. I asked had he replaced the converter he said NO guess what the converter finally came apart and stopped up the exhaust the trans was OK...
Original OEM converters intact have value for some reason aftermarket don't they may fetch $10...
