Well, it is over and I am still a little tired. I must say that it was a great day for a sale and my auction sale was a success thanks to my family for helping me get ready and all of the great people who attended, bid and purchased my tractors and farm stuff. I did not bid back anything, in fact I did not bid at all, as I had told the auctioneer that when people show up to an auction the consignor should stay out of the way and let the bidders set the price. As a result some items sold for less than I would have liked but others sold for much more. An interesting thing is that the tractors sold for as much or more than I was asking for them privately.
I must confess that I had symptoms of sadness as I watched them haul my stuff away....naw, just more space for some new acquisitions.
