Must come out and like Delt Red said ya need some special tooling . You need a clutch drum spring compressor a really good pair of heavy snap ring pliers and ya need the special fitting to set clutch loc up pressures . The unit is heavy and best removed by usen a Cherry picker and once you have the bolts out and on this there are two short bolts you leave in till you have everything inside taken apart . You will want to use a pieces of pipe over the 540 shaft as a lever so you can tip the back end down as you come back so you do not bang the pick up tube for the PTO hyd. pump as they are thin wall tubing and will bed / dent easily . I can be in and out of a pto and have the tractor back u and running in about four hours , Don't work as fast as i use to .
