I ended up with four unopened 15 gallon drums of 20WT ND oil for free. I started using it in the hydraulics of the 630 Deere back when it saw every day loader work. Sometime after I started using it I had the hydraulic system on the back of the tractor apart, maybe for replacing the three point piston seals, I forget exactly why. Anyway, inside the case was a thick layer of sludge so I quit using the stuff. I know it is approved for those old hydraulic systems but I didn’t like the looks of that sludge in my tractor. This hydraulic system was used and warmed up good every day and oil was added fairly regularly because of leaky loader seals so I doubt if this was caused by condensation.
