Yes the old drill is a 510 IH, only us little old guys use these “quaint “ antique equipment, lol. I have a lot of road frontage on this place, and it is on the edge of town, not uncommon to see a pickup pulled over watching, while I plant , or chop haylage with 50 year old equipment. The seed bags on the drill are mostly mixed grain, 6 row barley and oats, at 50-50. And the “Pickseed” bag is hay seed , 40% clover 40% Alfalfa 20% Timothy. I by this seed custom blended from a local outfit. I grow the grain to get straw for the cow barn, and sell the grain to the local Co-op feed mill. They need a lot of Oat/Barley mix to make custom blended rations for goats and horses. There are just hundreds of horse farms to the south of me, as you go towards Toronto. The geese fly out on to this field in the late afternoon every evening, and are nesting in my lower pasture near the creek.
