Is your corn planted in 38" rows? We used to run an E [which is what evolved into the K2] in 36" rows. Shields helped to keep from running over any stalks that were leaning. You always wanted to work on the down slope side of the standing corn. Any mud, and you're sliding and running down corn. E had 16.9 tires too. Does your K2 have 18.4? Axle might even be wider? I know the wheels are different.
