Wellll..not quite. Most of the bulb stock in the car parts stores are several years out of date. I purchased two different makes figured it would be a good test. They were a big disappointed. Took them back. The newest Samsung ones listed are FAR brighter. The technology has really advanced with leaps and bounds. Check that Ebay listing. You can even use them as backup lights if you're vehicle takes 1156 bulbs. Lites up the whole dang neighbor hood!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
