John Your WRONG!!!! LOL You can use one chain, two "T" hooks and two binders to secure two sides of a tractor/combine IF they are hooked correctly. I hauled a lot of tractors and combines out of JD factories. You hook the chain to the side of your trailer and then the other end to a slotted/"T" hook on the frame. Then use a binder on that section of the chain. Repeat on the other side. The center section is not carrying any load.
Hooking like the picture shows is not securing each side/corner. So that would not be fully legal.
