You might consider tongue and groove fence pickets. The lengths of the boards is only 6' but they are pressure treated so they would last for you. If you didn't mind having a little gap between the boards where they are rounded you might use 5/4 decking boards. Either of which if you wait until the wood is dry it can be painted and should last a lifetime sealed with paint. It would last for more than a decade if you just left it raw wood.
