I made a grocery run today.
When I slow cook my soupbeans I have always used a 'smoked ham hock' for flavoring. The store was out of hocks but, they had 'smoked pork neck bones'.
I got back and was packing away stuff for the freezer when I noticed the 'neck' bones had a pretty good amount of meat on them (more meat than the hocks). I like a little meat with my soupbeans and buttermilk cornbread.
Have y'all ever used 'smoked pork neck bones"? and what did you think about 'em?
