OK did some more checking. It looks like the 5060-4 is the right end. I went down to look at the neighbors 4010.
I noticed that his insides were flush with the outside. I got a hook - hopefully I miss the orings and pulled the insides out flush. I have been using a lot of lubricating oil.
With the lever up I can push the end in. When the lever is then moved to full down, the hose end stays in.
If I pull on the hose, 3 out of the 4 will pull out. The lever moves up as the hose end comes out. Is there something maybe gummed up that is keeping the lever from holding in the down position?
If I move the lever up, it falls out.
Seems I remember as I first described. The the lever was up for operating. and that locked the hose end in. Not sure what I am missing.
Could they be pulling out with the lever down, just because the tractor is not running and there is no pressure
