: the end of the crank shaft come off. not very easy. the recommend way is to put a bearing puller behind the pulley. a plate that has to halfs connected with two thearded rods and attach a two jaw puller to this plate. put a short peice of shaft in the hole in the pulley so the puller will push on the shaft. don't feel bad if it breaks thats way every catlog sells cub and a-c remanufactered pulleys good luck
