: : CAN YOU BEAT MY SERIAL NUMBER?!? I think I may have the earliest serial numbered Super A (restored) in the country. Does anyone have one with a serial number between 250001 and 250274 (my ser. number is 250274)?? If you have one or know of someone who does, please e-mail response to mpurcell@magnolia-net.com. I have alot of information on some very unique labeling features for these tractors that should increase their value if you do the restoration right. : I've got a Super "A" I've had for 20 years, #250556, an early 1948, & it's a nice one, has been up to "showroom" twice, but it also earns it's keep, mowing our 4 acre lawn an L-59 Woods, it also plows the garden, dresses up the drive way, etc. Have all the books & manuals, also the implement catalog with it. Any idea where they were manufactured? Mine came from a used dealer in Abilene, Kansas Thanks for the response, Dennis. All SA's were made at the IH plant in Louisville, KY.
