Nothing to excuse, just more info was needed. I was explaining to the other guy why this issue wasn't getting a lot of responses. Often when someone does respond to a post like this and they ask for more information from a new user the new user never responds. So a lot of folks just don't bother trying.
So where it says breakout? Yes that's with rolling the bucket. Next are you sure of the weight? Or is the 800 a guess? I have the IH 2001 loader on a much larger tractor. To me it seems pretty flimsy at 1/2 the rated weight. When I was using it to feed round bales it was OK with 900 pounders but didn't like the 1500 pound ones a newer baler made.
Now on your tractor loader combo several things can cause some of the problems you would like to address. When was the last time the hydraulic oil and filter were changed? And yea it could be as simple as that. Are the cylinders/control valves leaking past the seals internally? And finally what condition is the pump in. The first one is easy and can be addressed by most owners. For the second one, if you leave the bucket up say 3-4 feet off the ground overnight does it hold position? If not how fast/far does it go down? May need to address seals and or rebuild the cylinders or control valves. On the last you need the gauges to test the pressure the pump is putting out. Most people do not have that equipment.
