Hello all! Well, been real busy in the new house - unpacking, landscaping, building workbenches and shelves, getting ready for paint touch ups, car repairs and other miscellaneous projects... Finally got around to lining all 6 tractors in my collection up today. Also did a video of all 6 being driven around. It is close to an hour long, but consider it your own little private tractor show! (Will be on my YouTube channel by this evening). I hope you all enjoy the photo, and here is a little info on the lineup (from left to right).
1942 John Deere Unstyled A - built out of a slant dash A that was locked up, and internally a disaster. 1938 Farmall F20 - Hadn't run from the 1950's until last year. Still ironing out some small issues, but built it from this and another parts tractor. All numbers matching. Motor was stuck as well. 1942 Farmall H - Was a Halloween hayride tractor for many years locally. Sat in the woods unused for about the last 8-10 years. Motor was loose. New manifold, magneto rebuilt, and carb kit. Good to go. Was originally on steel wheels (still had the cutoffs when I got it). 1944 Minneapolis Moline ZTU - Hadn't run in 5-10 years. Motor was loose, installed rebuilt magneto, carb rebuild, and fuel tank.. Runs great! 1947 Farmall M - Saved from a salvage yard. Motor locked up bad, complete top to bottom rebuild. Added Farmhand Standard loader to mimic my grandpa's 1940 M that he had. 1941 Case SC Center Exhaust - Grandpa saved from the salvage yard in the early 1970's. Sat from 1993 until approximately 1999. My first project - took me 10 years to complete. Still working on little things here and there.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
