Hi the problem could be they stock say 60 of them and the ones you took could already be replaced on the shelf to. I know lots of our local dealers have a daily stock order if they want to use it and I can get out off paying freight going that way for 2 days wait . if they go machine down and guaranteed next day delivery if the parts close it costs me the freight.
There could be a reason other than them just being greedy. Always remember you need dealers more than they need you. If you don't go back or the next one makes you mad and you quit It cost you more having no parts or driving further. for every guy that gets mad and quits them somebody else is usually walking in when you leave.
I've worked shop and parts and been on the customer side to from good and bad experiences. Today you were smart so you think, I've had other dealers even call me to order parts for them when they made the OEM warehouse guy mad and he wouldn't help them with something unusual. When I called in he just said wouldn't it of been so easy if the guy that needs that part hadn't annoyed me L.O.L Regards Robert
