Hey all. A bit off topic, but I know how powerful the collective efforts of the people on this site are... Close friend and coworker of mine went out on medical leave about a month ago - was having a lot of pain in his back, hip, and legs. Went to the doctor about 4-5 days in as the issues hadn't gotten better and found out his potassium and sodium levels were very low. After about another 10 days or so, and many, many more tests, they find out he has lung cancer... He started chemo last Thursday.
Got a call from his daughter yesterday. He has been admitted to the hospital, and while the doctors are hopeful and not giving up... They seem to think time is not on his side. I gathered a large group of coworkers on the drop of a hat last night and we are all going to see him this morning. He is a tough old Swede, but I think he needs as all to say a prayer for him. He is a fellow motorhead like me, and has always had a love for Farmall tractors. Never got around to owning one, but he shares a love for the old iron like all of us.
If everyone could just add him to your thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day, ya'll.
(And a photo of the new Super M to keep it tractor related).....

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
