Just got my Dads old JD 4320 running last night, but the water pump was not turning. I loosened the belts so the engine could run a minute and not burn the belts off. My question is if anyone has had this happen and would it be possible to tap on the sheave or something to try to get it turning again. I don't mind putting a new waterpump on if it needs it, but if not, there is no need. The tractor last ran about 3 - 4 years ago my cousin said. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance - Bob
