If that would have happened in my local county seat town a hazmat team and the fire dept would have been called and it would have been front page news on the local green, clean water, clean air, anti-farmer newspaper. One cup of ‘possibly oil’ found on the street makes it’s way to this newspaper.
It’s good the engine wasn’t wrecked. Here in Iowa farm country truck engines have been wrecked when the truck is driven through the corn stalks and a stalk flips open the oil pan drain cock. The driver gets out of the truck leaving the engine running and comes back to a non running engine and an oil stream running down the rows.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
