You NAILED it spot on silicone is made from DIRT do oil samples of something that has had to much used on it,, it reads as the machine is ingesting dirt I do use on certain things the black RTV stuff but not often at all, where I used to work they bought the "blue goo" in caulking tubes if they would have read the instructions it does say how to use it more correct rotten stuff I HATE working on something someone has goobed that stuff on pain to remove and is everywhere
