Last summer a plume of dark smoke went drifting by the yard. I'm talking, blot out the sun, kill all the bugs Cloud....
Went to look around the grove, and a semi was pulled over, hood up, and black smoke pouring out the engine area.
Not sure what it was, went back 15 minutes later and everything but a ten foot oil spray puddle was gone.
Wife was field cultivating this spring, and looked like she was losing antifreeze, liquid dripping from the front pulley area.
Got it home, looked, and - no, not antifreeze. Turned out to be diesel, a couple of the injector lines were spraying out onto the valve cover. I didn't care for that, a high mist of diesel fuel flying around a hot engine, hot turbo.......
