snowblower/lift arm stays

I've attached my new snowblower, and it's working
okay (as long as I stay away from rocks), but it
tends to sway off to one side as the lift arms for
the 3-point pivot. This just doesn't look right. I've
seen for sale these highly sophisticated looking
metal bars with holes drilled in them, which supposedly
stop this from happening, but I can't get anybody to
tell me how they work or where exactly they bolt on.
