Yesterday I attended the Frank Hawkinson estate sale near Savonburg,KS..It was a very hot and humid day and the heat almost got me when I took some rear wheels off a 630 Case....This was the third sale there with other sales being held in 2005 and 2011 while Frank was still alive....A good many of his Case tractors sold on the 2011 sale.. I first met Frank in 1976 when I looked over his collection..
Frank had a large collection of spark plugs..There were 11 large tool boxes just full of old spark plugs from many years ago..Lots were new in the box for Model A-Model T and much more...They sold choice and the first 3 tool boxes sold for $475 each...He also had display boards with old plugs..
1-1030 Case-----$2,000 ran nice-the disk beside the Case sold for $850..
The rest of the tractors didn't run or were apart.
