Got it. There was a bigger hole too that somebody had put a sheet metal screw into with a piece of rubber under it,but that wasn't where it was leaking. I sand blasted it and there were about half a dozen little wet spots either side of that screw. My son drove in about the time I got it in the shop after I blasted it. I asked him what he'd do. He said braze it. I asked him what he thought about the shop vac,he said it probably wouldn't hurt,so that's what we did.
The vac was pulling so much air that it wouldn't seal with the braze,so we shut it off. It caught fire a couple times, but we turned the vac back on and it went right out. After we had what we figured was all of them,we tipped it up and poured some fuel in. We got a tiny little wet spot again between two spots that were brazed,so we poured it back out, turned the vac back on and brazed that spot. I took the screw out and brazed that hole back shut too by the way.

On our first cosmetic restoration, not having a manual, we carefully marked the wires, taped the magneto in the position it came off, and were careful not to turn the engine over while we had these components off. We thought we could get by with this since the engine ran perfectly and would not need any internal work. After the cleanup and painting was done, we began reassembly and finally came to t
