CT Farm Question/Limit Chains or Stays?

I was browsing thru my CT Farm catalog while in the reading room tonight, and noticed the catalog had what looked like two different types of limit chains. (1998 Catalog, verse and chapter to come). Page 267, lower right corner shows what appear to be a couple of chains called "Mower Deck Stabilizer" part#145050-063. It looks like two chains that attach at the toplink and as it says, maintain "consistent mower height and eliminates need for stabilizer bars..." Now on Page 231, there's something called a "Stay Chain Assembly" that looks to be very similar, as it is "designed to take the load off tractor hydraulic systems. Adjustable to any height needed. Fastens to top link pin on tractor and runs to lift are on equipment." My question is are these the same sort of devices? If I don't get around to finishing my homebrewed limit chains, which of these would work? Any comments appreciated from those in the know! Thanks in advance, Jim
