'61 Ford 801 Power Steering

I know this is a rather subjective question, but how much power should I expect the power steering system on this tractor to have? I have front end loader on it. I would refer to it as power assist rather than the kind of power steering that you would typically run into on a "modern" tractor. I know what it was like before I rebuilt the pump and it is and improvement, but it is not at all like my little JD670. I suspect I'm comparing apples and oranges. I've never seen another 801 with ps to compare it with.
