The problem isn’t so much the quality of the shaft as it is the length of the hitch and geometry for a 540 implement you should have 14 inches from the end of the pto shaft to the draw bar pin hole you can get away with less but With that big pump you’re losing about a foot of distance and that is just to much . I ran an Indian 1000 to 540 adapter on my 855 new Holland baler on 110 hp tractor and never had a problem
