Kinda neat to think that, back in the day, the parts man would take your order over a wall-mounted telephone that was probably crank-operated to make calls. Your receipt was hand-written in legible writing because penmanship was still taught. Everything took a long time because that's how it was. I like to romanticize those times but not sure how many of us in the internet age could stand it if we had to go back.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
