I have never looked at it. I can guess why tho. Insurance is a big one, people that were doing it have found out their insurance was no good while doing it. Then more restrictions comming up with vehical and drivers licence. They all have to meet same requirements as if you had a fleet of a hundred semis on the road at all times. I think this uber of people driving as taxies will soon blow up as the drivers are starting to get in problems from driving for them and finding out their car insurance is no good because of what they are doing. Even most of your daily newspaper delievery drivers are driving without insurance coverage even tho they think they are covered. I had to get a special rider on my insurance so I was covered during the 15 years I did that. The insurance coverage I had was the insurance agent was my customer. When the company , not agent, found out about it they werer going to cancle me because of it. Found a differend company but for then to cover my while on paper route I had to not only have all the vehical insurance thru them but all my house-farm insurance as well. Friend was delievering papers when his brake line broke and he hit a car found out the hard way about that. The person the replaced me on the route had a wreck and that was the last the paper saw him as I am sure he got in trouble for driving without insurance coverage even tho he thought he had because that is considered commercial and not a personal insurance policy. You can haul something for a friend by not charging them anything but as soon as you would have a wreck and the company found out they were evening paying the expences for the haul they would put you out of the personal cattagory to commercial and you would be having no insurance even on your family car and you were using your pickup truck. Think about that legal situation and decide if you would want to be cought up in the problems.

Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
