One way to identify which terminals are which on a Class A 3 terminal (BAT ARM FLD) Voltage Regulator I have successfully used is as follows (may or may not work on allllllllllll VR's, be warned):
I used an ohm meter on a relatively low ohms scale say 100 and attach one lead to the case/frame/ground metal and probe with the other end.
BAT should have near infinity ohms like an open circuit it is under those condition....... FLD would be very low ohms maybe less then 10 down to near zero, depends on the particular VR.... ARM may be in the range of say 20 to 50 or so ohms as that's the shunt winding portion of the cutout relay.
NOTE this is NOT intended as exact, only ohms ranges with BAT highest, FLD lowest, ARM mid range and again, it MAY NOT WORK OR BE TRUE FOR ALL VR'S so don't anyone have a calf, I'm ONLY saying its worked for me.

Obviously that draft will increase if the implement runs deeper than eight inches, and decrease if it runs shallower. Why not use that draft fact to control the depth of work automatically? The draft forces are
