Rock rakes and rock pickers are serious equipment, $10,000 range and require a serious tractor. A lot depends on how much land you have, how many rocks, and what size they are. You can ignore the small stuff, use a landscape rake for the fist sized stuff, and, for anything bigger, a small trailer, box on a 3pt carryall, or front end loader. Carry-all is the cheepist. Depending on the state of your relationship with your significant other, one of you can drive and the other can pick up.
