My long time (42 years) good friend died early yesterday morning. When He helped me to put on a tractor pull for two years a few years back I introduced him to my puller friends who I also snowmobile with as "my best friend" He was early on a heavy equipment operator then a lumberyard manager and then a surveyor. He owned a Ford, a Case, and a JD tractor. He and I worked together on a lot of projects to help church members and others When He was diagnosed just a few months ago with a cancerous tumor, his reaction was the he will get to see Christ earlier than he planned. When he had surgery for it he found that he had just a few months, and he redoubled his efforts to present the Gospel to everyone who he came in contact with. Sure we will all miss him but it was a joyful time for us in church yesterday morning when we found out that he was gone because we know how happy he is now in Christ's presence, and it won't be long before many of us are with him.
