NOT sure what are up to, there, Fred, always posting photos of junque being trucked into your lot, then dressing it up a bit before an auction, trying to "turn a buck", hey, nothing wrong with that, that's capitalism!
The part I don't understand, with a "rare" item, like the hay press, of no actual USE, just collector value, is it REALLY advantageous to slobber random paint on it, vs. letting the new owner/legit collector enjoy it's patina or carefully research it, restore it, and paint it CORRECTLY?

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
