I bought a Fordson Major that I was told afterwards, is the front half of one tractor and the back half of another, which is probably why the serial numbers are nonexistant. according to the I&T manual, serial nos went from the flywheel flange to the rf engine boss in March 1956. the headlights are in the same place as Power Majors. not so sure about the back half. it has a difflock and some hydraulics that may be Super Major? could a difflock come on a Power Major, or would it indicate Super Major? also, is this a raised PTO? any help with ID would be appreciated.
