A few weeks back I asked for a rough pricing on this Kubota.
After looking at it a little more, and the dealer(and yous) giving us a quote. With the stuff it needed we pitched the owner an offer. He had to check with brother(partners). The way it sounded (to one we dealt with) if we wanted it could of been get it going and drive off), came back we'll take it...then tractor is gone and we got something for it.
So a quick check over(fluid levels, fuel...) a new battery and it was going. Drove it the block home today. It will be a useful toy.
Now the tractor history(if you wish to continue reading)
The father of the brothers(that we bought it from) was a Kubota dealer and ordered it(tractor, cab and loader) through the business. It was going to be for snow(had blower for it as well), but they decided a truck and plow would be better. Was used some as a farm tractor(till animals were sold off) but was mainly a yard tractor for the business. Which is why it has only around 2600 hours on the clock.
Flash to a few years ago, they sold the business off(getting to old for that). The tractor was parked in the barn and left to sit. Now the father has passed and the kids(getting up in age as well), are trying to clean up so they can sell off the rest of the original property before their time comes up. During a casual conversation my pa mentioned the tractor(we knew it was there). They said yeah we should sell that to, make us an offer its yours. After seeking some advice, and looking over....its ours now. A few small things to take care of(from sitting) till its completely "worry free" operation, but other wise its in great shape.

In the exhaust you can hear an occasion 'poofing' sound like somethings not firing on all cylinders.
