I had to get glasses when I got my drivers license, nothing bad main change was at night,, that said I drove truck for almost 15 years or more,, started out wearing dark sunglasses when the sun was shining in the windshield, soon found out by doing that I had changed my eyes so they could not stand bright light, took over a week of not wearing them and then watering badly but then they adjusted again Thankfully back to normal,, I started wearing these yellow colored light intensifying UV blocking safety glasses,, 10 times better than sunglasses, and my eyes have zero cataracts, and for the last 25 years I do not even need glasses as my vision has gotten better than 20/20,, my eye Dr. is Impressed how well the glasses protect my eyes as I am in the sun more than not, I can see in the light I can see in the dark, my Mom was going blind form MD you spoke of and one other eye issue so I have been keeping my eyes checked as these are both hereditary I am told, what I am saying is I spend as much or more time than anyone I know outside and my eyes are very protected with this type and do not cause the sensitivity to light the dark glass do,, I agree you need to stop the certain UV light as that they say causes cataracts, he said i should have them long before now,, myself i will never wear the dark ones again,, cnt
