I wonder where the discussion about the legality of the trailer came in?? I re-read the entire thread, and see no place where that question was asked. BUT, just for information, federal law states that no state may have a blanket prohibition on 102" trailers. Also, every state must allow 102" trailers on highways approved for STAA dimensions. That includes most (if not all) interstate highways. Restrictions do sometimes exist on state highways and secondary roads.
