My wife and I got our Nexus passes a few months ago, but didn't have an opportunity to use them until last week. Crossing from Port Huron, MI to Sarnia, ON, the passes easily saved us 30 minutes. Cars were backed up almost halfway across the Blue Water Bridge, but we sailed past them in the dedicated Nexus lane. There were only a couple of cars ahead of us when we got to the checkpoint.
Returning back to the US at the Thousand Islands, there wasn't a dedicated Nexus lane, but we were quickly waved through when we got to the checkpoint.
It costs 50 bucks to get a Nexus card, which is a real bargain when you consider it also gives you the benefits of Precheck ($85) and Global Entry ($100). The only catch is you have to be interviewed, and all the Nexus interview locations are at the US/Canada border. But you can schedule the interview at a date that's convenient for you, so if you occasionally travel to a border city the interview is not a big problem.

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
