Amen to that!I used to spend lots of time on my base station and would often give assistance (ie; information) to truckers. Finally got to where I took the antenna down and boxed the base away.
Now, I don't drive over the limit, so don't feel any need to have a cb anymore. Don't really go to unfamiliar areas either. I much preferred the older days, when people (in general) had better manners. ....I was at a 4-way stop sign in town not too long ago. We weren't in a hurry, so thought I'd let the guy to my right (who air-braked it to the stop sign) go ahead of me. I kept waving my hand, but he just sat there on his phone. When he finally looked up to see me waving him on, he actually got upset! Guess he was waiting for our truck to pass before he stomped on the gas.

As for Jon, here's the way I see it -- if the 'gesture' isn't in full view, then take it as "you" interpret it. Otherwise you have to assume your making an assumption of what's there. :wink:
