Agree with the others. Leave it hooked up but unhook the correct one. Did you double check everything with a meter? The one that is reverse just turn on the lites and make it is STONE STONE dead. THEN... hook everything back together and let the potential of the good battery slowly reset the polarity of the messed up battery. Monitor this for awhile to make sure the goofed up battery doesn't go into thermal overload. Hope everything comes out well. Did it once like 40 years ago. Letting another battery re- establish the polarity you don't mess with battery chargers or anything like that. Watch your water level in the goofed battery if you can. Be very careful because of hydrogen gas. When batteries are brandnew they need to have a potential charge put on them at the manufacturers.
