We have a 2000 Long LandTrac, pre Montana. Has served us well. Is having the reverser replaced right now, parts are getting scarce and expensive. It is a "compact" and is not as well built as a "utility". We have worked it hard, trying to get 50 HP out of a 47HP tractor. But, everything still works, it starts in sub-zero weather. I'd buy another for the same price. At least 10 grand cheaper than a MF, JD or Kubota. If you are going to bury it, who cares what the resale value is?
Have you considered a Mahindra? They make a "Utility" model. Are heavier than NH and MF. Everything now has computers and the series 4, or whatever, engine and they will be a problem for everybody.
