Grandpa Charlie sprayed lead and arsenic mixture on apples and peaches, watermelons and cantalopes for many years. My Pop sprayed DDT on strawberries, watermelons and cantalopes for years. There was no way nor any attempt to wash any of this stuff off in years past, that was not even considered in years past. EPA stopped sale and manufacture of Difolatan years ago, a fungicide I used one year many decades ago. Things I use now are applied in strict compliance with the EPA-approved label requirements. I have no worries about Roundup. In fact, I've used it for 30+ years.
