Removed in some states due to the fair labeling law. 303 was a jd spec that replaced type A (20wt) crudely distilled hydraulic fluid. It called for sperm whale oil (better viscosity properties) which was banned in a international treaty around 1978. You can not sell whale oil, and you cannot sell the substitute product under the law as it does NOT contain whale oil. The substitute oil contains a newer mineral base oil refined and additives to exceed the properties of the sperm whale oil. So they are having to pull it and re-label it, to meet the fair labeling act.
SO>. .you cant sale whale oil and you cant sell under the 303 spec that calls for whale oil.
