: : : Hi, my name is Bob Koik. I live in the city of Darwin which is one of the states of Australia. Recently we went camping in the outback and I came across a very old International Tractor on a cattel station. As I like tinkering with old machinery I decided to revisit the place a couple of weeks latter with a large trailer, winches and many tools. Two days latter we managed to get it back to Darwin. Its now in front of my shed. : : Can you assist me to tell me what year or any other details that you might be able to dig up in your achives. It has a 4 cylinder petrol motor but parts of the motor as missing. I would like to restore it but would like to know if I can get parts for it. : : The numbers are very hard to read but I think they are; : : Model No. W4 : : Serial No. WBH 4943. : : If you can assist me on any of the above it would make my day. : : : : Regards : : bob koik (from Down Under) : : To Bob from another Bob from down under, you can get photo copies of manuals for the W4 from Plough Books in Victoria, Phone 0352661262 Fax 0352662180 for $2 they will send you a catalogue The W4 was the standard tread version of the venerable model H. Given the serial number of 4943, it appears to be a 1942. Engine parts should be easily obtained from your local Case/IH dealer, as the engine was the same C-152 model in the H... Good Luck! Don
